Destiny 2 Lightfall Showcase scheduled for August: It seems like just yesterday that Bungie was preparing to release one of their most potent expansions for Destiny 2. The Witch Queen was a huge hit and made strides in gameplay and story.

Only a few short months later, Bungie has declared that they prepare to move on and reveal more about Destiny 2: Lightfall.

Bungie promises a Lightfall announcement presentation for August 23.

On August 23, 2022, Bungie will host a showcase to discuss Destiny 2’s future, particularly the Lightfall expansion. A little teaser video teasing the news posted on the official Destiny 2 Twitter account along with the announcement.

The Witness may hear in the fill saying that the children of Sol are pleading for redemption. However, they continue by saying that there has already been enough death and life and that we are at a loss for new game pieces.

The Black Fleet, a Traveler who has silenced, the Garden of Salvation, and the Derelict Leviathan are all seen in conjunction with this. The whole movie appears to be a warning against everything we dread.

The message is rather ominous, and it provides a little taste of what to anticipate from Destiny 2‘s release the following year. The chances may not seem to be in favor of humanity, but when have they ever been?
