Specifications of the Xiaomi 12S and 12S Pro have leaked

Xiaomi 12S and 12S Pro are reportedly in development, and a reliable tipster has shared a few key specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi 12S series smartphones. Last month, the Xiaomi 12S and 12S Pro were discovered on the IMEI database.

Along with a slew of new features, the latest leak revealed that Xiaomi’s flagship smartphones would have smaller displays than the Xiaomi 12 series’ other models.

Digital Chat Station, a trusted source, shared the critical specifications for the Xiaomi 12S and Xiaomi 12S Pro.

According to the source, in the second half of the year, the market will see some small-screen flagships.

The phones are expected to have a full-HD+ flexible curved display with a single hole in the middle and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Xiaomi 12S series phones are also expected to have a 50-megapixel primary camera. According to reports, the camera will include a new hardware-level algorithm.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ processor is in the Xiaomi 12S series. According to the leak, the model SM8475’s 2K large screen version comes with image enhancements.

The source also hinted at some design changes and new colours for the upcoming handsets.

Last month, the Xiaomi 12S and 12S Pro were discovered on the IMEI database. The smartphone was not well-represented in the database. The Xiaomi 12S models are expected to have a few additional features over the standard models.

The Xiaomi 12S and Xiaomi 12S Pro have model numbers 2206123SC, shortened model number L3S, and 2206122SC and shortened model number L2S, respectively, on the IMEI database.

The codenames “diting” for Xiaomi 12S and “unicorn” for Xiaomi 12S Pro are also rumoured.
