The OPPO Band 2 could soon make its debut on the international market. Although the firm has not yet made any formal announcements on the specifics, the fitness band has been noticed on the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) certification page, suggesting that a worldwide release may soon be taking place.

In China, the OPPO Band 2 has already been introduced. It boasts a 1.57-inch AMOLED display and several capabilities to track your health.

Popular tipper Mukul Sharma discovered the OPPO Band 2 with the model number OBBE215 on the IMDA website. As usual, no information regarding the smart band was disclosed in the listing. However, it suggests a quick launch.

Last week, the OPPO Band 2 and the OPPO Watch 3 series were launched in China. The standard band version costs 249 Yuan, or about $36, in that country. The price of the NFC version is 299 Yuan, or around $44. It is available in Black and White.

Specifications for the OPPO Band 2

The 1.57-inch AMOLED display on the OPPO Band 2 is virtually the same size as most smartwatches. It weighs just 33 g and has dimensions of 45.3 x 29.1 x 10.6mm. The band now comes in a squircle form due to significant design changes.

The Apollo 3.5 CPU, 8MB of PSRRAM, and 128MB of Nand storage power the OPPO Band 2. It has a 200mAh internal battery that has a 14-day runtime. The band further allows fast magnetic charging.

The new OPPO band has sleep tracking and 24-hour heart rate monitoring. Additionally, it is said to be 5ATM waterproof. It comes with Bluetooth v5.0 for connection.

Oppo has already pre-installed more than 200 watch faces, 100 sports modes, and an NFC chip for contactless payments in Band 2.
