Nothing Phone 1 Is Expected to Support 45W Charging Ahead of July 12 Release

According to a report, the Nothing Phone 1 might enable 45W rapid charging. Details of the phone’s charging capabilities have appeared online ahead of the debut of Nothing’s first smartphone in India on July 12.

The details of the new device have been revealed many times in recent months. Aside from the impending Nothing Phone 1, the UK firm founded by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei is said to be developing other gadgets, including a follow-up to its Ear 1 true wireless stereo (TWS) headphones.

A Nothing-branded charger was detected on the TÜV SÜD PSB Singapore certification website, according to 91Mobiles, citing tipster @Sudhanshu1414 on Twitter.

According to the advertisement, the charger’s model numbers are C304, C347, and C348. The listing was confirmed by Gadgets 360.

It’s worth noting that the certification doesn’t specify which handset the 45W charger is designed for, and the smartphone’s characteristics, including its charging capabilities, have yet to be publicly revealed.

Meanwhile, tipster Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh) disclosed on Thursday that in addition to the forthcoming Nothing Phone 1, which is set to arrive in India on July 12, the business is working on more devices.

According to Brar, a survey for the Nothing Ear 2 — the successor to the Nothing Ear 1 TWS, released in 2021 — is presently being circulated.

Mukul Sharma, a well-known tipster, alleges that the corporation has registered three separate batteries in India, implying that it is working on new gadgets.

According to Sharma, the NT01 battery may be used in the Nothing Phone 1, while the 391357PN4 and 801444PF4 batteries might be used in the Nothing Ear 2 and another undisclosed device, respectively.

The Nothing Phone 1 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon SoC and will operate on Nothing OS, which is based on Android. According to previous rumors, the phone would have a 6.55-inch OLED display and a transparent appearance similar to the Nothing Ear 1 TWS earbuds.

Nothing said on Wednesday that its first device, the Nothing Phone 1, will be unveiled on July 12 in London at a virtual event dubbed “Return to Instinct.”
