Huawei MateBook 16s, MateBook D16, MateBook 14 2022, MateBook D14 2022 Windows 11 Laptops are Now Available

Huawei has announced the MateBook 16s, MateBook D16, MateBook 14 2022, and MateBook D14 2022 as the company’s new Windows 11 laptops. Intel Core CPUs from the 12th generation power all four models.

The MateBook 16s is the most expensive device in the new MateBook line. The laptop incorporates a touchscreen and an Intel Core i9 processor. 

Along with the new laptops, Huawei released the MateView SE monitor, which can tilt and rotate for a fully vertical viewing experience.

The Core i5 version of the Huawei MateBook 16s costs CNY 6,999 (approximately Rs. 81,400). A Core i7 model costs CNY 7,999 (approximately Rs. 93,100), and a top-end Core i9 model costs CNY 9,999(roughly Rs. 1,16,400). 

The Huawei MateBook D16, on the other hand, starts at CNY 5,699 (approximately Rs. 66,300) for a Core i5 model and increases to CNY 6,699 (about Rs. 78,000) for a Core i7 model. 

The Huawei MateBook 14 2022, on the other hand, starts at CNY 6,099 (approximately Rs. 71,000) for a Core i5 model. A Core i7 version of the laptop is also available for CNY 6,999 (roughly Rs. 81,400). 

The Huawei MateBook D14 2022 costs CNY 5,299 (about Rs. 61,700) for a Core i5 model and CNY 5,999 (approximately Rs. 69,800) for a Core i7 variant.

The Huawei MateView SE costs CNY 799 on its own (roughly Rs. 9,300).

Specifications for the Huawei MateBook 16s

The Huawei MateBook 16s runs Windows 11 and has a 16-inch IPS display with 2,520×1,680 pixels and a peak brightness of 300 nits. The display also has touch capabilities and a 3:2 aspect ratio. 

The laptop is equipped with a 12th-generation Intel Core i9-12900H processor, Intel Iris Xe graphics, and 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM. NVMe PCIe SSD storage of up to 1TB is also available.

With the MateBook 16s, Huawei has included a full-size backlit keyboard. The keyboard comes with a touchpad and a fingerprint sensor incorporated into the power button.

An HDMI connector, a USB Type-C port with charging, data transfer, and DisplayPort capability, a Thunderbolt 4, a USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, a 3.5mm audio combination jack, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth v5.2 are among the laptop’s connectivity choices.

Dual speakers and microphones are included in the MateBook 16s. It has an 84Wh battery that can charge quickly with a 135W USB Type-C power adapter. Furthermore, the laptop is 351×254.9×17.8mm in size and weighs 1.99kg.

Specifications of the Huawei MateBook D16

The Huawei MateBook D16 is powered by Windows 11 and has the same display size as the MateBook 16s, but with a resolution of 1,920×1,200 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio. 

It also lacks input capability for touch devices. The MateBook D16 has a 12th-generation Intel Core i7-12700H processor, Intel Iris Xe graphics, and 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM. A 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD is also included.

Huawei has included:

• A touchpad with fingerprint sensors.

The laptop includes two USB Type-C ports, a USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm audio connector. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5.2 are also supported.

The MateBook D16 has four microphones and dual speakers. A 60Wh battery is included, and a 65W USB Type-C power adaptor. The laptop weighs 1.7kg and has dimensions 356.7×248.7×18.4mm.

The Huawei MateBook 14 2022 runs Windows 11 and has a 14-inch screen with a resolution of 2,160×1,440 pixels and a 3:2 aspect ratio. The display also supports touch and has a peak brightness of 300 nits. The MateBook 14 2022 is equipped with an Intel Core i7-1260P processor, Intel Iris Xe graphics, and 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM. A 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD is also included.

A full-size backlit keyboard with a fingerprint sensor-integrated power button and a touchpad are available for input on the Huawei MateBook 14 2022.

A USB Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone and microphone combination connector are all included on the MateBook 14 2022. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 are also supported by the laptop.

On the MateBook 14 2022, Huawei has included two speakers and four microphones. A 56Wh battery is included, which may be charged using the included 65W USB Type-C power adaptor. The laptop also has dimensions of 307.5×223.8×15.9mm and weighs 1.49kg.

The Huawei MateBook D14 2022, like the MateBook 14 2022, runs Windows 11 and has a 14-inch display. On the other hand, the display has a 1,920×1,080 pixel resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. 

It also lacks touch capability, including the MateBook 14 2022 model. The laptop has an Intel Core i7-1260P processor, Intel Iris Xe graphics, 16GB RAM, and 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD storage.

The Huawei MateBook D14 2022 has USB Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB 2.0, HDMI, and a 3.5mm audio port for connectivity. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 are also included in the laptop.

Specifications for the Huawei MateView SE

The Huawei MateView SE sports a 23.8-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 1,920×1,080 pixels and a 16:9 aspect ratio. The display screen offers a peak brightness of 250 nits and a 1,000:1 contrast ratio. 

It features a 100% sRGB color space and a 90% P3 color gamut. The monitor has AMD FreeSync functionality and can show material horizontally and vertically, depending on the user’s desire.

On the MateView SE, Huawei has included a special eBook mode that allows users to read ebooks, newspapers, and periodicals on the monitor without straining their eyes. An HDMI port, a DisplayPort port, and a proprietary power connector are all displayed.

The MateView SE weighs 4.5kg and has dimensions of 538.5x362x182mm.
