Huawei Watch Fit 2 Launched with 1.74-inch AMOLED Display and Link Design

On Wednesday, the Huawei Watch Fit 2 smartwatch was released in Europe. It has a 1.74-inch AMOLED display and a press-to-release “Link” design that enables users to replace bands quickly.

The Active Edition, Classic Edition, and Elegant Edition are the first three models to release. Silicone straps are included in the Active Edition, leather straps are included in the Classic Edition, and metal straps are included in the Elegant Edition.

The Huawei Watch Fit 2 is one of the wearables that debuted in Europe, alongside the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro, Huawei Band 7, and Huawei Watch D.

Price and availability of the Huawei Watch Fit 2

EUR 149 gets you the Huawei Watch Fit 2 Active Edition (roughly Rs. 12,100). Straps are available in Isle Blue, Midnight Black, and Sakura Pink.

Meanwhile, the Huawei Watch Fit 2 Classic Edition will be available in Moon White and Nebula Grey color bands for EUR 199 (approximately Rs. 16,200).

The Huawei Watch Fit 2 Elegant Edition, on the other hand, costs EUR 249 (roughly Rs. 20,250). Premium Gold and Silver Frost Milanese strap choices are available.

According to Huawei, customers may check local websites for information on the wearable’s availability.

Specifications for the Huawei Watch Fit 2

The Huawei Watch Fit 2 has a 1.74-inch AMOLED display with 336×480 pixels. All watch faces on the wearable come with always-on display (AOD) designs, downloaded from the Watch Face Store. Touch capability is available on display, and the watch has a button on the right spine.

The Active Edition model features a polymer front and back casing, whereas the Classic Edition and Elegant versions have an aluminum front case and a polymer back case.

The Huawei Watch Fit 2 also has a press-to-release “Link” design that enables consumers to change straps quickly.

Wearers of the Huawei Watch Fit 2 may customize the watch face using a phone photo. They may use the Huawei Health App or OneHop for watch faces to accomplish so.

Only Huawei mobile phones that enable NFC and run EMUI 11 or later may use the OneHop for watch faces function. The smartwatch’s Active Edition does not offer OneHop for watch faces, and the functionality is only accessible in certain countries and regions.

Fitness animations and voice-guided warm-up stretches for 7 typical activities, including cycling, jogging, and swimming, are among the health-related features.

The Huawei Watch Fit 2 gives you real-time running statistics, sedentary warnings, and 97 exercises.

The wearable also keeps track of blood oxygen levels (SpO2), heart rate (through an optical heart rate sensor), sleep, and stress.

When it comes to battery life, the Huawei Watch Fit 2 comes with a magnetic charging mechanism and lasts up to 10 days. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v5.2 are among the wearable’s connectivity possibilities.

NFC is only available on the Classic Edition and Elegant Edition versions. All devices include Bluetooth calling, music control, virtual assistant capabilities, and 5ATM water-resistant. They work with Android 6.0 or above and iOS 9.0 or higher.
