Poco F4 5G has a confirmed HDR10+ Super AMOLED display

The Poco F4 5G will be on sale in India on June 23 at 5:30 p.m. On Twitter, the business has begun exposing the smartphone’s specs. Poco has already verified several of the smartphone’s display characteristics.

The Truecolor display is designed to have a peak brightness of 1300 nits. According to the company, it will include HDR10+ resolution and a 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut.

Unfortunately, the handset’s display size has not been verified; however, it has previously been rumoured to have a 6.67-inch display.

The Poco F4 5G will include a 4th Gen (E4) Super AMOLED touchscreen with HDR10+ resolution, Truecolor tuning, and a 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut, according to the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. Poco also said the display would have a peak brightness of 1300 nits.

Poco elaborated on the Poco F4 5G display characteristics in a Twitter conversation. It’s the “display you need,” according to the business, and it’s packed with capabilities to improve a user’s multimedia experience.

According to the firm, the 4th Gen (E4) Super AMOLED touchscreen has low energy consumption, excellent resolution, quicker reaction time, and improved photoelectric properties. The display will also have a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1.

The Poco F4 5G’s dynamic HDR decodes information for each frame in a movie and changes the brightness and tone mapping accordingly. The Truecolor display calibration will improve colour accuracy, according to the firm.

“We’re sure we’re in overkill territory by now,” Poco remarked, “but that’s POCO F4 5G‘s killer display for you!” Unfortunately, the business did not reveal the display’s size; however, it was speculated to have a 6.67-inch screen.

The Poco F4 5G will include 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, according to Poco. The Snapdragon 870 SoC has been confirmed to power the smartphone.

The firm will make the new Poco F4 5G available internationally on June 23 at 5:30 p.m. On Poco’s YouTube account, it will be livestreamed.

Poco has previously teased the smartphone with a design that resembled the Redmi K40S. A triple rear camera configuration with a 64-megapixel primary sensor will also be available on the Poco F4 5G. LiquidCool 2.0 technology will also be included in the smartphone. Green, Black, and Silver are the colour possibilities for the Poco F4 5G.
