Asus has updated its smartphones with features such as an altered fast settings panel, notification tray, and volume panel.

In the launcher, Asus has also included a new widget page design. Furthermore, Asus Safeguard has been replaced with the native Emergency SOS function, and the SIP calling feature has been deleted from the Asus Phone app for some reason.

Mobile manager, contacts, data transfer, local backup, setup wizard, system update, and other applications have all been updated. This current version includes a privacy dashboard, camera and microphone indications, approximate position access, and microphone access.

Aside from that, the firm advises customers to back up their data before updating to Android 12.

According to the firm, it’s vital to remember that if you use an approved software package to downgrade to Android 11 from Android 12, all of your data will be removed from your phone. As a result, the backup will be helpful in this situation.

The upgrades will be sent out in stages, with all devices receiving the update shortly. Users with an eligible Asus smartphone may manually check for the update by going to Settings > System > System updates.
