Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 2 features a 50-megapixel outer camera sensor: Rumour
According to a report, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 2 would most likely include a 50-megapixel outside camera sensor with Leica branding and compatibility for Dolby Vision HDR video recording.
The 22061218C variant of Xiaomi’s second foldable smartphone with 67W fast charging capabilities was previously discovered on China’s 3C certification website.
According to the China 3C listing, the smartphone was about to be released in China. According to rumors, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 2 would include 6.5-inch and 8-inch displays with 120Hz refresh rates.
On the Chinese microblogging site Weibo, tipper Digital Chat Station recently revealed that the rumored Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 2 would have a 50-megapixel outside camera with Leica branding and compatibility for Dolby Vision HDR video recording. The tipper withheld any more information about the alleged device.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 2 was previously discovered on China’s 3C certification website with the model number 22061218C. According to reports, the smartphone will feature 67W rapid charging.
The foldable phone’s 3C classification suggests that China may soon see its release. Xiaomi has not yet confirmed the features and availability of the smartphone.
The 6.5-inch and 8-inch touchscreen screens on the Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold 2 are expected to have 120Hz refresh rates for the inner display and 60Hz refresh rates for the outside display.
Comparing the smartphone to its predecessor, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold, a narrower crease is anticipated. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC power the foldable phone. The launch is slated for mid-2022.
Recall that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, which powers the Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold of the current generation, was introduced in March last year. Priced at CNY 9,999 (approximately Rs. 1,18,100) for the basic model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and CNY 12,999 (about Rs. 1,53,500) for the top-of-the-line model with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, the device made its debut in China. Unlike previous smartphone models, the foldable smartphone was not introduced in India.
