Vivo Y22 Spotted on Geekbench with Helio G85 SoC; Launch Coming Soon

The Vivo Y22, a new Y-series smartphone, has been discovered on Geekbench. According to reports, the smartphone will be released as part of the company’s Y series, featuring the Vivo Y35 and Vivo Y22s.

According to the listing, the smartphone would use the Android 12 operating system and be powered by MediaTek’s Helio G85 SoC and 4GB of RAM.

A new Vivo smartphone with the model number V2207 has been detected for the first time by MySmartPrice on the testing website Geekbench. According to earlier sources, this model number relates to the Vivo Y22 smartphone.

The smartphone is listed with Android 12 on the benchmarking website, and Vivo’s Funtouch OS may be running on top of it.

The listing also discloses that the Vivo Y22 would include an octa-core processor, with two additional cores clocked at 2GHz and the other six cores operating at 1.8GHz. This leads us to believe that the chipset may be the MediaTek Helio G85.

The chipset includes up to 4GB of RAM and the Arm Mali-G52 GPU. The business may offer the smartphone in a variety of storage configurations.

In terms of benchmarking results, the smartphone scored 1220 for multi-core performance and 339 for single-core.

According to previous leaks and reports, the Vivo Y22 would have a 6.44-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 60Hz refresh rate. To take selfies and make video calls, it could include an 8MP camera.

A 5,000mAh battery that enables 18W rapid charging is supposed to power the gadget. It probably has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock for added security.

These are merely rumors, however, and the business hasn’t officially confirmed any information regarding the upcoming smartphone. In the following days, we anticipate learning more specifics about the gadget.
