Vivo iQOO 10 Pro Is Expected to Support 200W Quick Charge

Vivo is purportedly working behind the scenes to introduce the iQOO 10 Pro with a staggering 200W fast charging after launching the iQOO 9 series with 120W wired fast charging. Here’s what we currently know about Vivo’s 200W charging technology.

Vivo iQOO 10 Pro to Support 200W Rapid Charging

Before we get into the details, it’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time we’ve heard of a Vivo phone that can charge at 200W. Last week, a respected Chinese tipster known as Digital Chat Station suggested that Vivo’s upcoming flagship might have 200W charging. However, according to the most recent rumour, the smartphone in issue is the iQOO 10 Pro.

According to the tipster Digital Chat Station, Vivo’s 200W charging adaptor has the model number V200100L0B0-CN. It has a rating of 20V at 10A.

Meanwhile, the iQOO 10 Pro is expected to have 65W wireless charging with a 20V 3.25A output. The iQOO 9 Pro, as previously stated, enables 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

Vivo isn’t the only company working on 200W charging technology. Oppo showed off its 240W SuperVOOC rapid charging technology at MWC 2022.

Xiaomi also demonstrated its 200W wired charging technology in May of last year. It can charge a 4,000 mAh battery to full capacity in about 8 minutes.

While it’s exciting to see smartphones with 200W charging, we’ll have to wait and see the long-term effects of such high charging rates on the phone’s battery health.

So, if you were seeking to buy a new phone, would 200W fast-charging affect your decision? Please provide your opinions in the comments section.
