Online details for the Realme GT 2 Explorer Master Edition have appeared. The rumored successor to the Realme GT Explorer Master Edition from 2021 comes with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU and a 120Hz refresh rate OLED display.
According to a tip, the phone might include a 50-megapixel camera and enable up to 150W rapid charging. Realme has yet to officially announce the Realme GT 2 Explorer Master Edition’s release date or specs.
A well-known tipster on Weibo, Digital Chat Station, said that a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC smartphone would be released in the second half of the year.
The phone includes a 50-megapixel back camera and a 120Hz full-HD+ OLED display with thin bezels. According to another tweet by the tipster, the smartphone might have a 4,800mAh or 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W and 150W fast charging.
While the tipster did not say the smartphone would be called the Realme GT 2 Explorer Master Edition, they published a benchmark of a Realme RMX3551 smartphone on Weibo last month, which showed a score of over 1 million on average AnTuTu.
This smartphone will be known as the Realme GT 2 Explorer Master Edition, and it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
Meanwhile, tipster Mukul Sharma disclosed virtually identical specs for the forthcoming Realme GT 2 Explorer Master Edition on Twitter.
The smartphone is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
It might include a 120Hz OLED display and come pre-installed with Realme UI 3.0, based on Android 12.
The Realme GT 2 Explorer Master Edition comes with a 50-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization and a 32-megapixel front camera.
According to the source, it might come in two battery and charger configurations: a 4,800mAh battery with 150W fast-charging compatibility and a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.
