Sony Xperia Ace III Launched With Snapdragon 480 5G SoC, 4,500mAh Battery Price and Specifications

Japan has released the Sony Xperia Ace III, a cheap 5G smartphone. On Wednesday, Sony unveiled the Xperia 1 IV flagship and the Xperia 10 IV mid-ranger during a launch event. 

The Xperia Ace III succeeds the 4G-capable Xperia Ace 2, introduced in May of last year. It is Sony’s most budget-friendly 5G device to date. It has a 4,500mAh battery powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G SoC.

Price and availability of the Sony Xperia Ace III

The Sony Xperia Ace III is now only available for pre-order in Japan, and it will be ready for purchase in mid-June. It only comes in a 4GB RAM + 64GB onboard storage configuration, which costs JPY 34,408. (roughly Rs. 20,500). This smartphone is available in four colours: black, blue, brick orange, and grey.

Specifications and features of the Sony Xperia Ace III

As previously stated, the Sony Xperia Ace III is powered by a Snapdragon 480 5G SoC. It operates on Android 12 without any additional skins. The front camera is stored in a waterdrop-style notch on the Sony Xperia Ace III’s 5.5-inch HD+ display. 

Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protects the presentation. It has a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear with an f/1.8 aperture. A 5-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture is also included. The cameras include auto HDR technology, enabling you to take vibrant photographs even in backlit situations.

The Xperia Ace III measures 69x140x8.9mm and weighs about 162 grams. It has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. A fingerprint sensor is located on the right side of the phone.

 A USB Type-C connector and a 3.5mm audio jack are also included. You may listen to high-resolution music through connected or wireless headphones thanks to its LDAC codec support. Bluetooth v5.1 and NFC wireless communication are also available.
