The drama was initially part of The CW’s summer lineup. However, it ended up being one of the less-watched shows.

“The Republic of Sarah,” the original scripted series, will not return with the second episode in 2020-2021. The series finale will air on September 6, 2021, on the CW.

The series is also available on Citytv in Canada. The series is also available on Voot, a sister streamer of CBS Studios in India.

It did not find much audience when it first premiered, with a Live+Same Day audience average of 325,000 viewers. The first season received a 43% approval rating from Rotten Tomatoes.

Greylock, a charming town in New Hampshire, is the focus of the CW’s show. Although the city is quiet and peaceful, the rare mineral coltan beneath it attracts unwanted attention.

Lydon Industries, a mining firm determined to seize the mineral, enters the picture. Sarah Cooper (Stella Baker), a high school history teacher, takes the matter into her own hands to save Greylock’s homes and those of its residents.

Jeffrey Paul King posted this on Instagram:

“I am sorry to report that the news is not favorable. King wrote that the Republic of Sarah would end Monday with our Series Finale. 

“Thank you so very much to everyone who watched our show and allowed it into their lives. It is a huge blessing to us. We are sad to say goodbye to Greylock.

The Republic of Sarah” received an 89% audience score from Rotten Tomatoes’ review-aggregation site for television and film reviews, but it failed to receive critical love. It only got 43% approval from critics.
