Razer x Lambda Tensorbook With Intel 11th Gen CPU, Nvidia Graphics for AI, and Machine-Learning Research Has Been Launched.

The firm released the Razer x Lambda Tensorbook on Thursday. The laptop, which was made with the help of a company that focuses on deep learning, runs Ubuntu 20.04 LTS and is meant for people who study machine learning and artificial intelligence. 

In addition, it has 64GB of RAM and Nvidia RTX 3080 Max-Q graphics. It has an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor. This is what the Tensorbook looks like. It has a 15.6-inch screen that refreshes at a rate of 165 Hz.

This is according to the Tensorbook’s official website. When running TensorFlow, it is said to be four times faster than a MacBook Pro with an M1 Max chip.

Razer x Lambda Tensorbook price, availability, and more

Prices for the Razer x Lambda Tensorbook start at $3,499 (about Rs. 2,67,980) for the Base model. This model comes with Ubuntu, the Lambda Stack, and a one-year warranty. 

You can buy one for $4,099 (about Rs. 3,13,930) that comes with two years of support and costs $4,999 for the “Enterprise,” which comes with three years of support as well Ubuntu and the Lambda Stack (roughly Rs. 3,82,850). The Tensorbook models are now for sale on the Lambda website in the United States. There is no word on when they will be available in other markets, such as India.

Razer x Lambda Tensorbook specifications

The new Razer x Lambda Tensorbook runs on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, and the Enterprise model has the option to run both Ubuntu and Windows 10 Pro simultaneously.

 It has a 15.6-inch Quad HD (2,560×1,440 pixels) screen with a refresh rate of 165Hz. The Tensorbook has an 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11800H processor and 64GB of DDR4 RAM. 

An Nvidia RTX 3080 Max-Q with 16GB of GDDR6 memory is inside it. There is a 2TB NVMe PCIe Gen 4 SSD when you want to store things.

According to Razer, the Tensorbook will also come with the Lambda Stack, which runs PyTorch, TensorFlow, GPU drivers, CUDA, and cuDNN, out of the box for machine learning.

In addition, there are two Thunderbolt 4 ports, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 Port, an SD card reader and an audio jack. There is also an AC adapter.

The Tensorbook comes with a webcam that can record in 1080p HD. It has an 80Wh lithium-polymer battery that can be charged at 100W over USB Type-C and 230W over the power port. This means it can charge quickly. The device is 355x235x16.9mm and weighs 2.02kg, the company says.
