The OnePlus Nord 2 5G users have begun to get the OxygenOS 12 stable upgrade. The latest version is supposed to include the May 2022 security patch and OxygenOS 12.

According to the changelogs, the latest version is 4.89GB in size and adds various new features. A new Smart Battery System has been added to extend battery life.

AI System Booster has been upgraded to version 2.1. The desktop icon textures have been improved, and Extra HD has been added to enhance the image and video resolutions.

In addition, the Dark mode now has three degrees of customization. In Shelf, OnePlus has also included additional Card design choices and access to OnePlus Scout and OnePlus Watch Card.

The Work-Life Balance feature is coming to the OnePlus Nord 2 5G, allowing users to switch between Work and Life mode via quick settings.

According to reports, Work-Life Balance 2.0 will support automatic switching between Work and Life mode based on location, Wi-Fi network, and time.

Users can now switch between different layouts in the new Gallery with a two-finger pinch. Also, based on the content, it will recognize the best-quality images for thumbnails.

Canvas AOD is now available in OxygenOS 12 with various line and color styles. It also includes an improved face recognition algorithm and a better software algorithm for identifying figure features.

Finally, the HyperBoost end-to-end frame rate stabilizer for gaming is included in the update.
