The community manager for Overwatch 2 has fixed this issue in the latest update. The new update is that they’ve completed looking into reports from players who claimed to have received the beta drops but haven’t yet been granted an account until now. 

However, there’s one aspect you need to check before registering. Is the account on your Battlenet charges connected with the Twitch accounts? Generally, you’ll need to make an account if you’re new to the series or Battlenet. 

If you don’t already have created one, you should make your Twitch account as it can aid you in getting drops for other games. Don’t forget to join the report on your Twitch account on your Battlenet account.

If you’d like to get the Twitch drops, this is a mandatory step. If you’ve already completed it, you can wait. Many have waited for access for between 5 and 6 hours yet are waiting. Make sure you do not disconnect and reconnect the account Blizzard account as it could cause further delays.
