Oppo Reno 7 Lite 5G Launched; Oppo Reno 8 Tipped to Have Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC

An Oppo Reno 7 Lite 5G has been released in Europe as the next model in the Reno line. It has a 5G connection. If you want to buy the new Oppo phone, you can buy the Reno 7Z 5G released in Thailand last month. It’s also the same as the Oppo F21 Pro 5G released in India this week, which was the same phone.

The Oppo Reno 7 Lite 5G has a 20:9 AMOLED screen, three rear cameras, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. In addition to the Reno 7 Lite 5G, the Chinese company is said to be making the Oppo Reno 8. It is thought that the phone will have a new chip called Snapdragon.

Oppo Reno 7 Lite 5G availability

People in Central and Eastern Europe will be able to buy the Oppo Reno 7 Lite 5G in a few days or weeks. According to the Oppo site, it comes in Cosmic Black and Rainbow Spectrum colors, and there is only one option for storage: 8GB + 128GB, which is the only one.

There is still no official price for the phone. So it’s not clear whether the Reno 7 Lite 5G is coming to markets outside of Europe.

If you buy the 8GB + 128G version, the price will be EUR 350 (about Rs. 29,100).

At Rs. 26,999, the Oppo F21 Pro 5G was released in India. It has the same 8GB + 128GB configuration as the F21 Pro.

Specs of the Oppo Reno 7 Lite 5G

Oppo’s Reno 7 Lite 5G comes with Android-based ColorOS 12. It has two Nano-SIM cards. It has a 6.43-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 60Hz refresh rate.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 is in charge of the phone’s processor, which has eight cores. It also has an Adreno 619 GPU and 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. There are three cameras on the back of the phone: a 64-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.7 lens, a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens.

This phone has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera to take selfies and video calls. It also has an f/2.4 lens.

The Oppo Reno 7 Lite 5G has 128GB of storage, UFS 2.2, which is a type of storage. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, and 5G and 4G LTE.

It also has Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a headphone jack. An accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor are all on the board.

Oppo has put in a 4,500mAh battery that can charge quickly with SuperVOOC. This is also 159.95×73.17×7.49mm (Cosmic Black) and 173 grams, which is a lot of weight.

Specifications of the Oppo Reno 8 (expected)

A tipster on Weibo says that the Oppo Reno 8 series is being worked on and that it will have phones with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and high-end MediaTek Dimensity SoCs, and a MariSilicon X ISP.

According to reports, one of the models in the series has a model number of PGAM10. It is said to have a 6.55-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor.

The Oppo phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 4,500mAh battery that can be charged quickly with an 80W power source. I think it would be one of the first phones to have the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC.

Qualcomm hasn’t said anything about the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 yet. This isn’t true, though. Rumors say that it will have four Cortex A710 and four Cortex A510 cores, and it will have an Adreno 662 GPU. The chip may also be able to use LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
