Nubia introduced new gaming smartphones Red Magic 7S and Red Magic 7S pro

The Red Magic 7S and Red Magic 7S Pro are two new gaming smartphones from Nubia that were just released in China. 

With appealing features, including a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU, up to 18GB of RAM, and a 165Hz display, the gadgets join the Red Magic 7 and the 7 Pro released a few months ago. See the whole information below.

Red Magic 7S: Features and Specifications

With a few modifications, the Red Magic 7S (and Red Magic 7s Pro) have similarities with the Red Magic 7 series in appearance.

The rear cameras of the Red Magic 7S are positioned vertically. The phone is also available in a transparent version with an RGB cooling fan.

The tablet has a 6.8-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with features including DC Dimming, a 165Hz refresh rate, and a 720Hz touch sampling rate. 

As previously established, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC powers it with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

The phone has some features geared at gaming, like the ICE Magic Cooling System 9.0, 520Hz touch sampling rate shoulder triggers, Magic GPU steady frame engine for rendering image synchronizing, and more.

Three cameras are included on the back: a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. 

Under the display, there is an 8MP front camera. A 4,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging and a 165W GaN charger powers the Red Magic 7S. 

Red Magic OS 5.5, based on Android 12, is used by the gadget. Dual speakers, DTS Sound, a 3.5mm audio connector, 5G compatibility, and more information are also included.

Red Magic 7S Pro: Technical Details and Features

There are several similarities and differences between the Red Magic 7S and the Red Magic 7S Pro. The back cameras are positioned in a circle on the phone’s square-shaped camera hump. A translucent version with an RGB cooling fan is also available.

Aside from the design, another distinction is between a 120Hz refresh rate and a 960Hz sampling rate for touch. The 6.8-inch AMOLED display, though, is the same. 

The chipset is the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, as was already reported. Additionally, up to 18GB of RAM and 1TB of storage are included. 

ICE Magic Cooling 10.0 and a larger 5,000mAh battery with 135W fast charging capabilities are also included with the phone.

There is a 16MP selfie camera hidden behind the display, even if the back camera setup is the same as the Red Magic 7S Pro. Most other details are the same.

Dark Knight and Deuterium Front Transparent versions of the Red Magic 7S series are available. The Transformers Edition of the Red Magic 7S Pro has a Bumblebee-inspired design. Prices are shown here.
