Nokia X G-Series smartphones with Snapdragon 480+ 5G SoC expected in H2 2022

Nokia is said to be working on new X and G-series smartphones for the second half of this year. Around the same time, Nokia is likely to release the Nokia XR21 5G, Nokia X21 5G, and Nokia X11 5G smartphones.

These new devices are believed to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 480+ 5G SoC. The names of the next X and G-series smartphones have yet to be revealed, but they are expected to include a 120Hz refresh rate display. Nokia has yet to comment on the rumoured product debuts.

Nokia is planning to introduce numerous smartphones in its X and G-series, according to a report from Nokiapoweruser. In the second half of 2022, these smartphones are likely to be released.

According to the article, the Nokia XR21 5G, Nokia X21 5G, and Nokia X11 5G are likely to arrive simultaneously, based on previous rumours.

According to the rumour, the new X-series smartphones and certain new top-end G-series smartphones set to come shortly will include a 120Hz refresh rate display.

Many of these devices are rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 480+ 5G SoC. According to the rumour, the names of the three X-series smartphones might be different.

Nokia is yet to specify when the new X and G-series smartphones will be released.

Nokia had previously announced the introduction of a new smartphone in its G-series range in India on April 26. The Nokia G21 begins at Rs. 12,999 for 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage and Rs. 14,999 for 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage.

The smartphone is offered in two colours on the corporate website: Dusk and Nordic Blue. The smartphone had Android 11 with a 6.5-inch HD+ touchscreen with a 90Hz refresh rate.

The triple rear camera arrangement included a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone also has an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
