Motorola reveals the design of the Moto Razr 2022 folding smartphone

The Moto Razr 2022, Motorola’s newest foldable smartphone, is about to go on sale. The phone will replace the foldable smartphone made by the Lenovo-owned company that is already available on the market, as the name suggests.

The firm has now posted a teaser poster on Weibo, which exposes the smartphone’s design and provides a preview of what to anticipate, even though the smartphone’s formal debut is scheduled for next week, on August 2.

A full-sized external display that matches the inside screen will be included with the Moto Razr 2022. A dual-camera configuration is also visible on the back of the phone, and a viewfinder function is available on the external display.

The news comes only days after Motorola announced that the Moto Razr 2022 would be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU, the most recent model. According to the manufacturer, it will have a 3,500mAh battery that can last all day on a single charge.

According to earlier speculations, the smartphone may include a foldable 6.7-inch P-OLED FHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. There will probably be a multipurpose 3-inch cover display on the back of it.

On the back of the phone are two cameras: a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. There will be a 32-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls.

The phone will have up to 512GB of internal storage and 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. It will ship out of the box with the MyUI 4.0 custom user interface and the Android 12 operating system.

Two color choices for the Moto Razr 2022 are anticipated: Tranquil Blue and Quartz Black. According to reports, the phone might cost €1,149, or around $1,175 in the European market.
