Moto S30 Pro launched

Motorola has finally released the Moto S30 Pro in China after days of teasing. The Moto Razr 2022 and Moto X30 Pro were unveiled at the same event as the newest higher mid-range smartphone from the Lenovo-owned company.

For those who don’t know, the event was originally planned for August 2 but was moved to today.

Moto S30 Pro specifications

The Motorola Moto S30 has a metal frame with a leather finish or a layer of Corning Gorilla 6 on the back. It weighs around 167 and has a thickness of roughly 7.45mm.

The smartphone has a 6.55-inch, punch-hole-centered, 10-bit, FHD+, 144Hz, and 360Hz touch-sampling display. HDR10+, DCI-P3 color gamut, DC dimming, and an SGS-approved reduced blue light mode are all supported.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus CPU, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and VC liquid cooling system power the phone. In addition to supporting Ready For 3.5, it boots MyUI based on Android 12.

On the back, it has a triple camera setup with a 50MP OmniVision OV50A main sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide camera with macro autofocus, and a 2MP depth sensor. It boasts a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

The phone comes with a built-in fingerprint sensor and dual audio speakers. Lastly, a 4,270mAh battery that supports 68W rapid cable charging powers the device.
