Lenovo released the Legion R7000P 2022 and Legion R9000P 2022 with AMD Ryzen processors and 165Hz displays

Lenovo has announced the Legion R7000P 2022 and Legion R9000P 2022 as the company’s newest gaming laptops. 

The design of both new Lenovo Legion models is similar to that of the Legion Y7000P (2022) and Y9000P (2022), released earlier this year. 

On the other hand, the new machines are powered by AMD Ryzen CPUs. The Legion R7000P 2022 and R9000P 2022 are equipped with Nvidia GeForce graphics. 

The laptops are equipped with 165Hz screens and Nahimic audio. DDR5 RAM and PCIe 4.0 storage are also provided.

Price of Lenovo Legion R7000P 2022 and Legion R9000P 2022

The AMD Ryzen R5-6600H CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX3050 graphics version of the Lenovo Legion R7000P 2022 cost CNY 7,599 (approximately Rs. 88,200), while the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics model costs CNY 7,899 (about Rs. 88,200) (roughly Rs. 91,700). 

The Legion R7000P 2022 is also available in an AMD Ryzen R7-6800H variant with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 graphics for CNY 7,999 (approximately Rs. 92,800) and an AMD Ryzen R7-6800H version with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti for CNY 8,299 (about Rs. 92,800). (roughly Rs. 96,300).

The Lenovo Legion R9000P 2022, on the other hand, comes with an AMD Ryzen R7-6800H CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX3060 graphics card for CNY 9,499 (approximately Rs. 1,10,300). 

A Nvidia GeForce RTX3070Ti option is also available for CNY 11,699 on the laptop (roughly Rs. 1,35,800).

The Lenovo Legion R7000P 2022 and Legion R9000P 2022 are presently available for pre-order in China, with a June 17 release date. 

Lenovo is offering a CNY 1,000 (approximately Rs. 11,600) discount on the selling price of both new laptops as an introductory offer.

In late February, Lenovo released the Legion Y7000P (2022) and Legion Y9000P (2022) in China, with starting pricing of CNY 6,799 (approximately Rs. 78,900) and CNY 8,999 (about Rs. 1,04,500), respectively.

Specifications for the Lenovo Legion R7000P 2022

The Lenovo Legion R7000P 2022 is a laptop that runs Windows 11 and has a 15.6-inch 2.5K (2,560×1,440 pixels) display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a 100% sRGB color gamut. The panel also offers Dolby Vision and DC Dimming capabilities. 

The laptop has an AMD Ryzen R7-6800H CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics card. Lenovo has also included 16GB of DDR5 RAM with a frequency of 4800MHz.

The Lenovo Legion R7000P 2022 uses the company’s own Frost Blade Cooling System 4.0 for thermal management, similar to the Intel-powered Legion Y7000P and Y9000P variants.

The SSD storage of the Lenovo Legion R7000P 2022 is 512GB.

Among the connectivity, possibilities are Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth, three USB Type-C, three USB 3.2 Gen 1, a 3.5mm audio connection, HDMI 2.1, and an Ethernet port. A dedicated button on the laptop enables the built-in camera.

The Legion R7000P 2022 comes with an 80-watt-hour battery that enables up to 135-watt rapid charging through USB Type-C. Aside from that, the machine is 19.9mm thick.

Specifications for the Lenovo Legion R9000P 2022

The Lenovo Legion R9000P 2022 is a 16-inch 2K (2,560×1,600 pixels) display with a peak brightness of 500 nits and a 165Hz refresh rate that runs Windows 11. The display also has HDR capabilities and supports DC dimming. 

It supports Dolby Vision and AMD’s FreeSync, Nvidia’s G-Sync technologies, and AMD’s FreeSync and Nvidia’s G-Sync. 

The AMD Ryzen R7-6800H CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics power the Legion R9000P 2022. The laptop features 16GB of DDR5 RAM running at 4800MHz.

The Legion R9000P 2022 is equipped with Lenovo’s Frost Blade Cooling System 4.0 for thermal management.

The Legion R9000P 2022 has the same connectivity options as the Legion R7000P 2022. A dedicated button on the laptop also controls the camera.

The Legion R9000P 2022 has an 80W battery that can charge up to 135W through USB Type-C.
