Asus ROG Phone 6 Confirmed to Have Improved Thermals Ahead of Launch
The Asus ROG Phone 6 series will soon be available in international regions. The Asus ROG Phone 6 and the ROG Phone 6 Pro are reported to be part of the range.
According to the company’s announcement earlier this month, the Asus ROG Phone 6 series will be available internationally on July 5. Since then, it’s been talking up different aspects of the lineup.
Asus has announced in a recent tweet that the ROG Phone 6 will have better thermals than its predecessor, the ROG Phone 5.
According to a tweet from ROG Global, the Asus ROG Phone 6 has a 30 per cent better Vapor Chamber and an 85 per cent improved graphite sheet for a more stable gaming experience.
In the run-up to its debut, Asus has unveiled a few more features of the ROG Phone 6. The AMOLED display on this gaming smartphone will refresh at 165Hz. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC will power it. It is also the first gaming smartphone to include this Qualcomm processor.
As the July 5 release date approaches, there may be a few more surprises. Asus has created a webpage with a countdown to the ROG Phone 6 series’ release. The ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro were recently found on the China Compulsory Certification (3C) website, according to reports.
According to the ads, these 5G-enabled devices would offer 15W regular charging and 65W rapid charging. The two gaming cellphones’ alleged design renderings have also been revealed. Both handsets are shown to have a rectangular camera module with a horizontally aligned triple rear camera system and an LED flash.
