AMD Ryzen Pro 6000 Processors for Business Laptops Announced

At CES 2022, AMD showed off its Ryzen 6000 series processors for laptops and PCs. AMD has now updated its Ryzen Pro processors for business-focused laptops. New CPUs have been added to the Ryzen Pro 6000 line by the company. They say these are the best processors for business machines in the world. Here are some more specifics:

AMD Ryzen Pro 6000 Series Processor Specifications

They’re part of the Ryzen Pro 6000 H-series processors from AMD. They’re called Ryzen 5, 7, 9, or Ryzen HS. It has also added two new CPUs to the Pro 6000 U series. The Ryzen 5 Pro 6650U and the Ryzen 7 Pro 6850U CPUs. Because of this, AMD has also made the Ryzen Pro 5000-U series of CPUs.

There are a lot of CPUs that use the Zen 3+ architecture. They were made on a 6nm node. They say they can do better work than their predecessors by 30%. At least three out of the eight new Ryzen Pro 6000-series processors are 6-core/12-threads. The rest are 8-core/16-threads, which means they have more cores.

As a result, the Ryzen Pro 6000 CPUs work better than ever with AMD’s RDNA 2 built-in graphics.

In AMD’s tests, the Ryzen 7 Pro 6850U processor is 1.1 times faster than its predecessor at 15W TDP and about 1.3 times faster at 28W TDP. Graphics performance: The processor has a built-in RDNA 2 GPU that makes it 1.5 times faster at 15W TDP and 2.1 times faster at 28W TDP.

AMD also compared its U-series processors to Intel’s 12th-Gen 28W P-series processors, and both of them did well. If you want to run many different tests, the new Ryzen Pro 6000-series processors are faster than older ones, but Intel’s processors are better for single-core tasks.

As for battery life, AMD says the new Ryzen Pro CPUs will have the best-in-class battery life. The company used the MobileMark 2018 tool to test an HP EliteBook 865 G9 with a 76Whr battery and 150 nits of brightness on a screen. A single charge gave it 26 hours of power.

Ryzen Pro 6000 CPU: The first x86 processor with Microsoft Pluton built-in. This level 2 security platform protects laptops from digital attacks and makes the hardware and software work more closely together, making it easier for people to use their laptops. Admins can also set up new Windows PCs with the new Ryzen Pro 6000 chips more quickly and easily.

AMD’s new Ryzen Pro processors are now used in business-class laptops like HP and Lenovo’s EliteBook and ThinkPad Z-series laptops, which are already on the market. On the other hand, AMD says that more laptops with Ryzen Pro 6000 processors will soon be on the market.
