Acer TravelMate and ConceptD Series Receive New Intel and AMD Processors: Details

On Wednesday, the Taiwanese manufacturer updated its TravelMate and ConceptD series, adding new laptops and desktops to the lineups. 

Added New CPUs to the TravelMate P4, TravelMate Spin P4, and TravelMate P2 laptops for small and medium-sized enterprises and hybrid employees. The new TravelMate laptops will be available with either a 12th Gen Intel Core vPro CPU or an AMD Ryzen Pro CPU. 

The ConceptD 5 laptop, ConceptD 5 Pro laptop, ConceptD 500 desktop, and ConceptD 100 desktop have been updated in the ConceptD series.

Intel’s 12th Gen Core CPUs and Nvidia’s RTX GPUs will be used in these ConceptD machines.

TravelMate P4, Spin P4, and P2 prices and availability

The Acer TravelMate P4 (2022, 14-inch) with Intel CPU will be available in the third quarter for $1,099 (approximately Rs. 85,300), in September for EUR 999 (about Rs. 81,600), and in July for CNY 6,999 in China (roughly Rs. 80,500). 

The identical AMD-powered laptop will be available in the United States in the third quarter for $1,099 (approximately Rs. 85,300) and in Europe in August for EUR 949. (roughly Rs. 77,500).

Meanwhile, the Acer TravelMate P4 (2022, 16-inch) with Intel CPU will be available in the US for $1,099 (approximately Rs. 85,300) in the third quarter, EMEA for EUR 999 (about Rs. 81,600) in September, and China for CNY 6,999 in July (roughly Rs. 80,500). 

In the third quarter, the laptop with AMD CPU will be available in the US for $1,099 (approximately Rs. 85,300) and in August in EMEA for EUR 949. (roughly Rs. 77,525).

The Acer TravelMate Spin P4 (2022) with Intel CPU will be available in the US for $1,199 (approximately Rs. 93,100) in the third quarter, in EMEA for EUR 1,099 (about Rs. 89,800) in August, and in China for CNY 6,999 in July (roughly Rs. 80,500). 

The laptop with an AMD processor will be available in the third quarter for $1,199 (approximately Rs. 93,100) in the United States and in August for EUR 1,049 in Europe (roughly Rs. 85,700).

The Acer TravelMate Spin P2 (2022), on the other hand, will be available in the United States in the third quarter for $899 (approximately Rs. 69,800), EMEA in August for EUR 799 (about Rs. 65,300), and China in July for CNY 5,999. (roughly Rs. 69,000).

Specifications for Acer TravelMate P4, TravelMate Spin P4, and TravelMate P2

The new Acer TravelMate P4 and TravelMate Spin P4 laptops will be available with a 12th Gen Intel Core vPro or AMD Ryzen Pro CPU. 

The Acer TravelMate P4 will be available in two screen sizes: 14-inch and 16-inch 16:10 WUXGA IPS thin-bezel displays. Aluminum-magnesium alloy and post-consumer recycled plastic were used to construct the laptop.

The Acer TravelMate Spin P4 also has a Corning Gorilla Glass-protected anti-glare touchscreen. The Acer TravelMate P2 laptop will be powered by an Intel Core vPro 12th Generation processor. The computer will come with either a 14-inch or 15.6-inch display.

Pricing and availability for Acer ConceptD 5, 5 Pro, and 500

The Acer ConceptD 5 (2022) laptop will be available in August in North America for $2,499.99 (approximately Rs. 1,94,100) and in June in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia (EMEA) for EUR 2,399 (about Rs. 1,94,100)(roughly Rs. 1,96,000). 

Starting in September, the Acer ConceptD 5 Pro (2022) laptop will be available in EMEA for EUR 2,599 (roughly Rs. 2,12,300).

The Acer ConceptD 500 desktop, on the other hand, will be available in EMEA in September for EUR 1,199 (approximately Rs. 97,900) and in China in the fourth quarter for CNY 11,999(roughly Rs. 1,38,000). 

In September, the Acer ConceptD 100 desktop will be available in EMEA for EUR 999. (roughly Rs. 81,600).

Specifications for the Acer ConceptD 5, ConceptD 5 Pro, and ConceptD 500

The 16-inch OLED display will be included with the Acer ConceptD 5 and ConceptD 5 Pro laptops. A 12th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU and Nvidia RTX A5500 or GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GPU will power the laptops.

Meanwhile, the Acer ConceptD 500 desktop will be equipped with a 12th-generation Intel Core i9 processor, Nvidia RTX A4000 or GeForce RTX 3070 graphics, and up to 128GB of 3200MHz DDR4 RAM. Up to 4TB of M.2 Gen 4 SSD storage and up to 4TB of HDD storage on the desktop.

The Acer ConceptD 100 desktop will be offered with a 12th Generation Intel Core i5 or Core i7 CPU. 

The desktop will also come with either an Nvidia T400 or T1000 GPU and support for up to 128GB of 3200MHz DDR4 RAM. A 2TB 7200 RPM HDD and a 2TB M.2 PCle Gen 4 SSD are available storage options.

The availability and price of the new ConceptD and TravelMate series laptops and desktops in India are yet to be announced by Acer.
