14- and 16-Inch MacBook Pros with New M2 Chips Expected in 2022 and 2023

Apple just released new MacBook Air and Pro models equipped with its latest M2 CPUs, and there have already been speculations about the arrival of further Macs. 

And now, courtesy of Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, we have some information about the updated 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro.

According to Gurman’s most recent Power On newsletter, Apple is already planning to introduce the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with the M2 Pro and M2 Max CPUs. 

These will replace the M1 Pro and M1 Max-equipped 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models introduced last year.

According to information released, the new MacBook Pro models will be essentially similar to the present versions with the extra bonus of having performance greater than the M1 Pro and M1 Max CPUs. 

So, we may anticipate better screens with a notch, a more comprehensive range of ports, and more.

In addition, it is said that the M2 Pro and M2 Max “emphasis be on the graphics side, exactly like with the normal M2.” For those who don’t become aware, the M2 chip delivers a 35% better GPU and an 18% higher performance. 

As a result, we may anticipate specific enhancements over the M2 regular version from the M2 Pro and M2 Max. This will be useful for a variety of specialists, including video editors and others.

There is a potential launch schedule as well; the revised 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro is anticipated to be released between this autumn and the spring of 2023.
